
Alison has dedicated her life to helping people and for the past ten years has run a consulting/counseling business, Valley Life Improvement Center with Michael Lewis.(
www.valleylifeimprovementcenter.com) She helped develop the Center's well-known and successful "Teen-YA" [Teens and Young Adults] program. She is a trained counselor who uses Scientology to help people with their lives.
She was a teacher and administrator for twenty-five years, and established five schools in the Los Angeles area.
She wrote hundreds of curricula for both private and public schools. For years she ran a successful tutoring business using the Hubbard Method of study technology, and has tutored people of all ages, from basic reading through college literature, and from basic math through calculus. In recognition of her work as an educator, Alison appeared in the distinguished periodical, The Who's Who of American Teachers, a record four times.
A published poet, nominated for Poet of the Year in 2007, Alison is also co-director, with Michael Lewis, of More Art, Inc (
www.moreart.us) a non-profit organization which showcases and launches artists of all kinds.
A life-long San Fernando Valley resident, Alison resides with her husband of over thirty years in the West SF Valley. They have two grown children, James and Curtis. She's now in her second year as President of the Granada Hills Chamber of Commerce.
Her hobbies include swimming and hiking.
