Shepherd of the Hills Church and Shapell Homes bring 50,000+ people together for the 14th Annual 4th of July Spectacular!
Porter Ranch, CA – More than 50,000 people are expected to gather on and around the Shepherd of the Hills Church campus in Porter Ranch, CA for what should be one of the largest and most colorful celebrations in the greater Los Angeles area. Shepherd of the Hills (SOTH) has planned a free dynamic celebration of aerial fireworks, military flyover and color guard, Americana-style entertainment by popular recording artist Steve Amerson, moon bounces, face painting for children, and an abundance of food provided by local vendors!
“Our annual Fourth of July Spectacular celebration brings our community together. It is a gift to the community as a token of appreciation for what we have been given,” explains Senior Pastor Dudley Rutherford. “People need community, and that is what you will find here. We want to serve you.”
The festivities will begin at 4:30 p.m. The twenty-one minute aerial fireworks display presented by The Pyro Spectaculars by Souza will take place after sundown (at approximately 9:15 p.m.).
“This will be our 13th annual Fourth of July Spectacular celebration. It keeps getting bigger every year,” said SOTH Director of Development, Paula Cracium. “800 volunteers work together to create a fun, exciting, and safe event for the whole family. It is truly a spectacular event!”
This celebration is free – a gift from Shepherd of the Hills, Shapell Homes and many more supporting sponsors. Optional food purchases can be made from over a dozen local food vendors which will include BBQ, pizza, burgers, kettle corn, ice cream, sandwiches and more.
